The Clarksville Family Aquatic Center is an outdoor aquatic facility that includes:

Zero depth pool with interactive water features

• Lap pool
• Plunge pool with 154 foot water slides * height requirement to ride the slides is 42"
• Family Changing room
• 2 sand volleyball courts
• Children's Sand area with play apparatus
• Full service concession area

Daily Rates: $4.50 for Clarksville Residents, $6.00 for Non-Residents.
Children 1 and under are free

Regular Hours:

Daily: 12PM - 6PM - May 23- August 11 ,2009, Plus weekends through Labor Day.
We will be CLOSED weekdays when local schools are in session. NO scheduled groups or daycares on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Daily Rates:

Clarksville Residents: $4.50 per person (valid photo ID is required to receive the resident rate)
Non-Residents: $6.00 per person
Children under the age of 1 are not charged.
Sorry, NO rainchecks or refunds due to inclement weather.

Senior Citizens:

Senior Citizens (over the age of 60) receive a 10% discount on daily admission and season passes.

Water Aerobics

Take those "twinges out of your hinges" and improve your strength, flexibility, and range of motion. Excellent relief of arthritic stiffness. This year we will offer two four - week sessions.

Water Aerobics are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30PM to 7:30PMpm. You can register at the Clarksville Family Aquatic Center before class begins. Fee: $25 per session

Session 1: June 2- 25
Session 2: July 7- 30

Private Rentals

The Clarksville Family Aquatic Center is available for private pool rentals.

Rental Rates
Fewer than 150 people - $250 per hour, 2 hour minimum ($200 each additional hour) 150 - 400 people - $300 per hour, 2 hour minimum ($200 each additional hour) Rental to over 300 people must be a school or a civic group.

The parks department reserves the right to determine who may be permitted to rent the Clarksville Family Aquatic Center, based upon the appropriate use of this family facility.

• Alcohol is not permitted.
• All public rules and policies apply to all private parties including proper swimwear.
• The premises are to be left in the same condition as when you arrive.
• Smoking is allowed in the food court area ONLY. Please use ashtrays.
• Swimmers must be 42" tall to ride the slides. Slide rules must be followed. No exceptions.
• Final decisions regarding music volume are at the discretion of the department staff. Music must not contain inappropriate lyrics.
• Food and drinks may be brought into the facility but must remain in the food court area.
• Parties will be allowed to enter the facility no earlier than the confirmed rental time and must be over by 10pm

Learn to Swim Program

Two sessions of our Learn to Swim Program will be offered this summer. Students will learn to float and begin arm and leg movement. Depending on skill level, more swimming techniques will be introduced.

The sessions will consist of eight lessons lasting approximately 40 minutes. There are a limited number of participants per session.

Cost:
$40.00 for Clarksville residents
$50.00 for non-residents

Morning Session - Monday through Thursday, June 9 - 19, 10AM OR 11AM
Evening Session - Mondays and Wednesdays, June 2 - 25, 6:30PM to 7:30PM

There are a limited number of students per session, so please register early for this program. When registering, be sure to include the session number.

Clarksville Dolphins Swim Team
Coaches, Paul Harper and Lauren Wimsatt



The Clarksville Swim Team is a fun, recreational swim team that is perfect for new swimmers who want to learn the proper techniques and for experienced swimmers who want friendly competition. The team will swim with the Southern Indiana Swim Association (SISA), which is made up of local swim clubs. The Clarksville Dolphins appreciates the sponsorship of the Clarksville Optimist Club.

Ages: 5 - 18

• 8 week program with 8 swim meets
• Practice: Mondays Wednesdays Thursdays and Fridays, 10am - beginning May 26th
• Season ends with a Championship Meet on Saturday, July 18th at Jeffersonville Aquatic Center
• Registration Deadline: Wednesday June 3rd
• Cost: $60 per swimmer / Only $30 per swimmer for a season pass holder

Father's Day Night Swim
Sunday, June 15, 7PM - 9PM
Spend an evening swimming with your family to celebrate this special day.
All ages are welcome.
Dads swim free! The cost is $4 per person for everyone else.


Wacky Wednesday
Wednesday, July 9, 7PM - 9PM
Spend an evening of excitement playing wacky water games at the Aquatic Center. All ages are invited. Bring the family for an evening of fun and games.
Cost is $4 per person.


Monday Mania
Monday, July 28, 7PM - 9PM
Everyone hates Mondays! Come on out and release some of that Monday stress with a dip in the pool. Admission is half price! (only $2 per person)
