The
Project This 50 year old park will not only have seven new fields, it will also include a walking trail around the entire park, playground facilities, new concession and restroom facilities, a shelterhouse, new and improved parking areas and entrance road, along with extensive landscaping. A special thanks to the Clarksville Town Council, the Clarksville Redevelopment Commission and the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Board for their support, commitment and pride to this much needed community project. Friends
of Little League The Friends have been active in the planning process and are assisting the project team during the development, design and financing of this important community project. They have been very instrumental in the establishment of the Clarksville Parks Foundation, which allows for tax deductible donations to be made for the benefit of the little league renovation project. The Friends of Clarksville Little League are a group of individuals committed to improving our facilities to enable the continued development of our youth, while fostering a sense of community pride. If you would like to become a member of this group or would like more information, please call Mickey Higdon at 283-8443. How
Can I Help the Dream Become Reality? Your donation is tax deductible through the foundation, a 501(c)(3) entity. Donations may be made in honor or memory of a special loved one and even bequeathed to the foundation. Please help this dream become reality by supporting the little league project with a personal or corporate tax deductible donation. The reasons are simple: you are helping the youth of our community; you are building pride in our town; and, you can reap the reward of your generosity with a much deserved and worthwhile tax deduction. Please send your tax deductible donation to the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana, in care of the Clarksville Parks Foundation 4100 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN 47150. Walk
of Champions Brick Program The “Walk of
Champions” has been created and will allow a personalized brick
to be laid in lasting memory for many years to come. Bricks are available
now for a donation of $50, and can be purchased in honor, in memory,
or in dedication to someone meaningful in your life. Participation |
